After surviving a life-threatening bout of pneumonia, Fabienne embraces a return to normal life. Then the pandemic hits, triggering traumatic memories of her struggle to survive. Despite her initial reluctance, she agrees to test the game and soon finds herself lost in the enchanting world he's created. The more she plays, the more she feels as if she's getting a tantalizing glimpse of the person buried deep inside her reserved roommate. Yet as they grow closer, she worries she's setting herself up for heartache. Has the forced intimacy of the pandemic created the illusion of a deeper connection? And even if he does have feelings for her, will her asexuality prove to be an insurmountable obstacle?
