Final installment in WICKED games! Based of The Death Cure movie (sorry book fans, I would, but it's way easier to go through the movie for dialogue and references than reading the whole goddamn book, and as you know, i like to keep to the original storyline as much as possible) and I will be adding my own little details and taking some, ah, poetic license. "Meg?" Thomas walked up to me, "What is it?" I still couldn't speak, my eyes only leaving the reflection of the words to look into Thomas's. I let go of my hair so that it fell back into place, covering my tattoo. Thomas nodded, almost as if I had reached out to him in his mind, but I didn't. He walked behind me, placing one of his hands on my waist as the other lightly grabbed my hair, sliding it to one side. My eyes locked on Newt now, trying to seek comfort in him before it was announced to the group what WICKED has named me. He gave me a weak smile, but I knew he was worried about me, he always worries about me. I heard Thomas trying to hold back a gasp, and felt his breath on my neck quicken. His hand around my waist tightened as if preparing to protect me after he reads the script. Then, reluctantly, he read the words out loud. ***FINAL BOOK of the Through series! Hang on tight cause it's gonna wild 😜 as always I do not own rights to any maze runner characters or plot lines from the movies or books. I also do not own the photos/videos used. To have your memory wiped and your life stolen away from you is one thing. To then be thrown into a life restricted by four towering walls and surrounded by nothing but strangers is where fight or flight really kicks in. Tiegan had no choice but to find her feet in the Glade. She was the first girl to arrive and had no time to be terrified of the life the boys before her had managed to endure. Just as her arrival as the first girl had been a shock, for Tiegan to arrive alongside a boy left suspicious whispers within the walls because there had only ever been one new Glader at a time. There were so many secrets beyond the walls but it was hard to try and listen to them when life in the Glade was forced to go on like clockwork. Thomas - the boy Tiegan arrived with - can't live restricted within the walls and he does everything to fight his way out. Tiegan can't decide whether the escape that lies beyond the horrors within the maze is better than the restricted life trapped inside the walls of the Glade.
What if?
What if... Teresa never went with Thomas when she died, but instead, got the serum and went to try to save Newt without anyone knowing. Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. Newt and Teresa then make a team to try and get back to the Safe Heaven where is everyone. This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...)
