A phantom pulls strings from the shadows, influencing a never ending war.

Meanwhile, Lyra, a tinkerer and inventor, finds herself in the midst of discovering a new technology that would send the Overworld into a new era while their neighboring country, the Underworld, lies in eternal darkness. 
However, tragedy strikes as a death would lead her from a path of discovery to a path of revenge, hardening her heart and her skill to overcome what obstacles lay ahead. Creating unlikely allies and a love she would've never imagined in her battle worn journey. 

What will she sacrifice; her humanity or the one she's destined to be with?
