However, tragedy strikes as a death would lead her from a path of discovery to a path of revenge, hardening her heart and her skill to overcome what obstacles lay ahead. Creating unlikely allies and a love she would've never imagined in her battle worn journey. 

What will she sacrifice; her humanity or the one she's destined to be with?

Lyra loved Lupin and Tonks more than anything, so it hurt for her to leave them behind, but she had to get away to stay alive and protect everyone she loved. She had lost almost everyone, and she refused to be the reason she lost anyone else. Moving to Forks, Washington was a huge change. She didn't know what to expect when she moved there, but she really didn't expect to find shapeshifters and vampires close to where she lived. She was different as well, but she believed she was alone. She didn't expect to find someone to love, nor did she expect for things to fall apart around her more than they already had.
