Drifted shadows

Set in a world where shadows can detach from their hosts and exist independently, Max Colson grapples with his newfound 'shadow partner', Jacko. What starts as irritation soon turns into camaraderie when they uncover that Jacko possesses knowledge of the supernatural currents running through their city. When Max is targeted by an underground group trying to harness these shadow powers for evil purposes, he relies on Jacko's instincts and his own burgeoning skills to challenge those who threaten their existence-as well as the balance of power among humans and shadows.
