In a land of dragons, myths, and magic, the fate of the Seven Kingdoms rests upon the shoulders of a young girl, Daenerys Targaryen.

In the wake of the flames of the past, the House of the Dragon has become an extinct dynasty, mired in chaos like a bittersweet shadow. This turmoil has elevated the standing of House Pendragon, the lesser descendants of Old Valyria, who have staked their rightful claim with iron and blood.

When Viserys Targaryen ascends the Iron Throne, Uther Pendragon becomes his Hand. But under Uther's influence, the king becomes cruel, ordering the death of his brother, Marcus. War ensues, and King's Landing is sacked as the Iron Throne is swiftly usurped.

Viserys flees with his family to Pentos. House Velaryon bends the knee, swearing allegiance to the Usurper King, along with other Great Houses. Uther's revolt sweeps across Westeros, ending the chaos and giving rise to a new dawn of peace and prosperity.

Following the assassination of her brother, Baelon II Targaryen, Daenerys returns to Westeros in disguise, adopting the name Daela of Braavos. Consumed by revenge and hatred toward the royal family, her fate becomes entwined with that of Prince Arthur Pendragon, the next in line to the throne. However, his claim is contested by foes-both evil and familial, as well as enemies within the realm.

As Daenerys (Daela) navigates the treacherous political games of court, she faces betrayal, death, sorcery, illicit affairs, scandals, and love triangles. To secure her claim to the Iron Throne, she must protect those she loves and fight against the rivalries at court.

The two valyrian will become inseparable, but as secrets and truths unfold, Daenerys (Daela) must find a way to maintain her position and restore the ancient strength of House Targaryen. She must also prevent the prophecies of Aegon's dreams from coming true stopping the rise of the White Walkers and averting the Dance of Dragons.

The War of heirs or Dance of the Dragons was a civil war during Targaryen rule of the Seven Kingdoms. A war of succession between Aegon II and Rhaenyra over their father Viserys I's throne, the war was fought from 130 AC to 132 AC. Dragon for Dragon Aegon's claim was based on the fact that he was the first born male of King Viserys while Rhaenyra's claim was based on the fact that Viserys had named her heir to Dragonstone and the Iron Throne and that King had supported this decision until his last breath. The birth of Rhaenyra's three daughters seemed to ease tensions, Visenya II Targaryen, first born, heir to the queen, pearl of the kingdom and ward of King Viserys. She was loved by everyone, from Queen Alice who voted for her and from Prince Aemond for whom she represented a debt in exchange for her eye. The princess had taken everything from her father Prince Daemon Targaryen, unstable and protective of her family. Aemma II, the rebel princess, had everything her mother valued, she was the first female swordsman in Westeros, promised to Aegon (crazy in love with the princess) she had been sent by Visenya and daemon to sit on the green councils and monitor them, she had been called "black spy" during the dance. Lyanna Targaryen, the People's Princess. She loved living in the lower world, abandoned herself to royal tasks and offered her possessions to the people, which had been a great advantage during the dance, she had been promised to Lord Cregan Stark. For several years everything seemed to be going well, but in 129 Ac, the death of Ser Harwin Strong at the hands of Lord Gwayne Hightower deteriorated the relationship between green and black. Gwayne was executed for treason by Visenya and Aegon with the help of Otto and Larys Strong usurped the throne. The dance took hold and the War of the Heirs began with the death of Prince Lucerys Targaryen.

The Blackfyres and Targaryens have fought many times against each other for the Iron Throne. Maelys Blackfyre was the last one to try and conquer the Iron Throne during the War of the Ninepenny Kings. Daemon, his cousin, was also killed by Maelys in order to get control of the Golden Company. Unbeknownst to Maelys, Daemon had a son called Aegon. Aegon fled after seeing his father being murdered and set out to travel among the Free Cities of Essos. After a few years of mercenary work, he settled near Volantis and started a family. Now his daughter, Visenya Blackfyre, is going on a journey that will change Westeros and Essos for generations. ~ I do not own Game of Thrones or any of the characters except my own~ I like to thank bobissocool11 for creating his book 'A Dragon's Flame'.
