Only girls can become magical girls. That was something Rin heard all his life. And it made sense, they were called magical girls after all. And yet everyday he dreamed he could be one, a hero of justice fighting against the Incursions of the Unfeelings.
He never expected his dream of ever becoming true. And yet when his small town is suddenly attacked by an Unfeeling Incursion one day. He of all people was chosen as a new magical girl to fight against the invading aliens.
However his new path before him will be harsh. Not only will he need to take the duty of fighting the Unfeelings. A duty that could kill him well before he reach his prime. But he will also have to face the scrutiny and judgement of the populace and other magical girls. As he take on a mantle that the general population feel was not meant for him.
A story somewhat inspired by Stray Cat Strut and Magical Girl Gunslinger.
