The Dream
TW - Suicide Sal Fisher is no stranger to dreams aluding to the future, or nightmares of the past. Usually the "prophetic dreams" of the future were distant. However, this dream was different. It was straight forward and he knew it was probably going to happen soon. He now fears for the life of a boy he would have never believed he'd fear for if you told him that a year ago. He fears for the life of Travis Phelps, the school bully. Between fear, looking hard for similarities between dreams and reality, and feelings he knows he feels but doesn't want, Sal Fisher now faces a challenge he never wanted to face. He just hopes he can change the ending when his dream comes true.Terminé
Death Lingering
Sal screamed so loudly that it hurt Travis's ears and echoed in his head for several minutes after it had finished. The sound was unlike anything he'd ever heard on TV, unlike anything he'd ever made when his father beat him. It was visceral, primal. Filled with the most basic of instinct from any living thing: fear. A kind of it that was so deep, it lacerated Sal's vocal cords as it tore through his stomach and out of his throat, loud enough to reach heaven, desperate enough to be a prayer. It was the sound of death. ========== Sal can't find his anxiety medication on the fourth of July. He subsequently proceeds to have one of the worst breakdowns he's ever had in Nockfell, directly in front of Travis Phelps. He never stood a chance, and he knew it, so rather than try, he resorted to the only thing he could think of that would get him close to Sal- bullying him. Travis Phelps- the homophobic asshole that beat up the outsiders as a way to filter his own self hatred, stuck in an abusive household. He was miserable, gay and being suffocated by the grip of his father's religiousness. Sal Fisher- the new kid in town, the exact thing Travis hated. Gay and transgender, on the outside happy with his life. On the inside, dying from a heart disease and living with a verbally abusive alcoholic father. Both were miserable, though it was hardly obvious to outsiders. They were polar opposites yet the exact same. Brought together by the very same religiousness that was slowly killing them, the two are at first enemies. Though after growing together, they make a decision. They were going to run away. Sal and Larry find something of Travises in front of one of the entireness to the cult. They assume Travis got kidnapped and go to recuse him. Will they get caught and if they do how will they get out? //Quick warning this story does have some dark topics such as child abuse and mental health issues.
