This is what I imagine (want) to happen straight after season 6 ended (Aaron is still in the story despite him having confirmed he won't be in season 7), focus on Chenford, slow burn. The Oscar/Jason storyline is incorporated from season 6 but not Monica. Lucy sets out to prove herself again as a good cop after her disaster with the detective's exam. Will the awkwardness between Chenford be resolved? Or will it all come to a head? Disclaimer - I have stayed true to each character's mannerisms in the show, so if you're looking for a story where Tim calls Lucy his pookie princess and is overly gushy, you won't find that here. I have remained as realistic as I can with each character's actions, behaviours and words.

This story is based on the events of 5x20, where Isobel momentarily returns to carry out a UC task with Lucy's help. I have changed up the events a bit, and played on Lucy's jealousy towards Isobel, and her interactions with Tim. Lucy is not willing to be second best, and makes that abundantly clear.
