Ridley Lane-Hamilton was born into one of the most influential and rich families in Starling City. Her Mother: Cynthia Lane-Hamilton, was a world-renowned Journalist and her Father: Carmichael Hamilton was the CEO of Hamilton Industries, a Tech Company.

When Ridley was Sixteen, Cynthia and Carmichael Hamilton went missing, leaving Ridley in the Care of her God Parents Moira and Robert Queen. Two Years later in the summer of 2004, she is sent to spend the summer with her Uncle: Cornel Sam Lane and her cousin: Lois Lane.

Lois and Ridley go to Smallville, Kansa, to investigate the death of Lois's maternal first cousin Chloe Sullivan, who had died three months prior.
