Avery is just you average teenager: Best friend, boy friend and annoyingly over-protective parents. But when an accident happens between her best friend and her boy friend, things go south. So, sweet girl Avery isn't, she lies to her parents and says she wants to go to a dance school in Paris.
They agree, enroll her in a perforing arts school and she packs. She gets to this new school and meets... A boy.
With heart aches, break-ups and make-ups, Avery is sure of one thing: France will change her forever.
