Truth be told, love doesn't come easily to Gary Joiner. Awkward, quirky, dull, a simple bore: Only a few of the names he's been called after a first date. He's tried time and time again to find "the one." He pictures her perfect, a model maybe. Hoping that nice guys finish first, he goes in search of the perfect female companion. She isn't what he expects. Love comes slowly for them, but they make it work. Despite the differences, it slightly works out. Not the way expected, but certainly he knows he did something right.
