- " Batter my heart, three-person'd God, for you
As yet but knock, breathe, shine, and seek to mend;
That I may rise and stand, o'erthrow me, and bend,
Your force to break, blow, burn, and make me new. "

Complete Remake of my old Book Suzerain.
This is a history inspired work of fiction about the reader, who is from an island (less generally the Caribbean) and an obsessive English prince. I try to keep the time period nondescript, but it'd be best if you assumed that there are attitudes and allusions reflective of all time periods before the 1940's. If these attitudes bother you; racism, sexism, fetishization.. arranged marriage, marriage trapping and isolation.. then this story may not be in your best interest.

Everyone thinks he should have recovered after that much time, but Allan still haunts Elliot every night. He struggles to maintain relationships with his family, and despite a coworkers interest he can't summon up the courage to date. Elliot is living for the past, because to live for the present means he'll have to live with a hole in his heart.
