Gene and Laurence broke up and Laurence basically left him behind after he met his best friend Garroth. Gene hates his guts and uses his new crush who kissed his bsf to manipulate her into doing his bidding, but someone snitched... I wonder who?
Gene still loves him, he gave everything up for Laurence and doesn't just want to let that go. "It's been months, why am I still so upset about this!?"

"Let's play a game," he whispers playfully into my ear. I hum and turn my head, "Twenty-two questions?" I ask instantly, a grin tugging at the edges of my cheeks.
