What if: during that fateful argument we saw back in "A Tale of Two Stans", instead of Stanford, Stanley fell into that portal? You probably wondered that too, I definitely have.
In this story, Dipper and Mabel get dropped into Gravity Falls, just like they did originally, but instead of the dangerous, scamming, and even fun great uncle they had in the original timeline, they're taken care of by an almost broken Stanford Pines who, by the time they arrive, has never been this close to actually giving up for once.
What changes in this story? How will the people and other stuff we knew back in the series, comics, and everything official be affected here? Will Stanford give up or actually manage to bring the one he feels like he betrayed? Find it out here, or not, I can't control what you do.

I have self-published several books, but I have never attempted fanfiction, and more specifically, I have never attempted romantic, sensual, or erotic fiction. Please feel free to critique my writing-- and be as brutal as you can. My aim is to improve. And he also has anger issues. Among his family and friends, he was a protector, a moral compass, and a voice of reason. Just like every teenager his age, he was ready to spend another summer at home. But this summer will be different. When his parents learn that his aunt and uncle were going to be sending his cousins, Dipper and Mabel, away from home, Patrick is sent with them. And then one day they find a mysterious journal in the woods. The moment they opened that book, it becomes clear to the three kids that things were not normal in this remote town. From aliens, conspiracies, cryptids, strange and violent deaths, ghosts, mysteries, other dimensions, and the unexplained. Gravity Falls would prove itself to be the very core of paranormal activity, supernatural phenomenons, and mysterious creatures. This story takes place during the events of the time traveller's pig during Dipper and Mabel's chase through time. Mabel makes a mistake that leaves the twins stranded in a snow storm. The two then discover secrets and revelations they were never meant to know yet. At first, they think there is no harm done, but they soon discover that knowing something too soon can cause consequences in the future and now they must decide if they want to keep the future they have created, or go back to the one they left behind.
