The story revolves around two boys, Felix and Dylan, who seem different on the surface but share a deeper connection through their struggles. Dylan is quiet, withdrawn, and dealing with unspoken trauma-he's a survivor of sexual assault and is battling mental health issues in silence. Felix, though more social on the outside, feels out of place with his friends and is drawn to Dylan's quietness, sensing there's more beneath the surface.

As their relationship deepens, Felix starts to uncover the layers of Dylan's emotional pain. "Unspoken" refers to the words and experiences Dylan hasn't been able to voice, both because of the weight of his trauma and because of the societal stigma around these issues. It also reflects Felix's own struggles with expressing his feelings of isolation and discomfort with his louder, rowdy friends.

The title highlights:

The emotional suppression both characters experience.
The barriers to communication around trauma, especially sexual assault.
The gradual, intimate process of learning to trust and open up to someone, even when the words are hard to find.
Ultimately, "Unspoken" represents the journey of breaking silence-not just the silence of speech, but the silence around trauma, vulnerability, and love. It's about two people learning to share their deepest pains and, through that process, finding healing together.

Clay had been closeted all his life and planned for it to remain that way. But, with having homophobic parents it was seemingly impossible to ever find the happiness he longed for. After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again". George had homophobic parents too and goes through the same. When times are at its worst somehow these two meet each other and now they are isolated from reality in the therapy school. It seems like they are the only ones left on earth, surely they were destined to meet one another. TW's: -Homophobia (conversion therapy) -Abuse
