Outsiders in Love

Low-income scholarship student Kaylee Scott is rejected by all of the other girls at the private, wealthy Ford Preparatory School. Now it is the start of her freshman year, and she is certain she won't make any friends.

Then she meets the new boy, Tyler, who is also on the social fringes of their grade. Slowly, through eating lunch together, they begin to recognize that they have a connection. Not just a friendship, but real, strong feelings.

However, love comes with consequences, and Kaylee soon finds herself caught between her values, her dreams, and her relationship with Tyler. And when unexpected challenges arise, Kaylee finds herself in a dark place. Can she dig out of her hole and find her place in a world filled with material obsession and hidden darkness?
