Amelia Pembrook - The Ashen House

Amelia Pembrook is a plague doctor turned monster hunter in a world that hates her for it.
When the black death hit the British isles, most people succumbed to it. Others weren't as lucky, for the plague latched on to folk myths and tales and the stories that people had heard and twisted the people it infected into monsters.
Plague hunters hunt such monsters, When they are not taking care of the sick and dying they are chasing down rumors and following trails to deal with the monsters using their skills to find ways to deal with the many types they had come across.
One such Rumor has led Amelia to Lancaster, following the rumors of a house that appeared out of nowhere after being burned down, with people seemingly vanishing out of thin air when they walk down the street the house was on.
Now, Amelia must confront not just the monsters of myth, but the darkest truths of humanity. Will she survive, or will the house claim her too?
