She forced herself to remain composed, her voice calm. "It's fine," she replied softly, her words barely more than a whisper. "It was just a hug. I was surprised, that's all. We used to hug all the time when you were younger-it's nothing."

Jungkook's gaze hardened, his eyes locking with hers as his voice dropped, quieter but resolute, carrying a weight that made the air still. "It's not the same," he said, his tone far more serious than she had ever heard from him.

Gulping nervously, Jungkook's gaze dropped to the floor, his fingers twitching at his sides. "When I hugged you back then..." he began, his voice trembling slightly, "I didn't think about bringing you to my bed."
