(Y/n) (L/n) was far from ordinary. Though only half-Korean, with her mother's heritage shaping her, and the other half coming from her (your ethnicity) father, her fascination with South Korean history ran deep. Her favorite pastime was getting lost in the ancient tales and eras depicted in historical k-dramas. There was something about the old ways, the battles for kingdoms, and the elegance of the Hwarang warriors that captivated her.

History had always been her passion. Watching those historical dramas filled her with joy, drawing her deeper into the richness of Korea's past.

But on the day she turned twenty, something changed. Strange dreams began to haunt her nights, dreams that made her feel things she had never experienced before. In these dreams, a boy, always dressed in traditional Hwarang attire, smiled at her. He was a familiar yet mysterious presence, one she could never quite place.

At first, she thought nothing of it. Dreams were just dreams, after all.
