This story is a wlw (Woman Love Woman) between y/n (Your name) and Hu Tao.

Y/n is originally from one region (any other than Liyue obviously) and has never managed to find a job in her native region, despite searching. Until she came across a job in Liyue, she thought it was a good idea and so managed to get a job.
When she told her family and friends, almost none of them thought she'd be there for long. "You have to learn Chinese!", "Why are you always looking for something complicated when you can just keep up with the family in terms of work?", "You're never going to make it!" and lots of other remarks. But what the hell, she didn't care about her loved ones, she just wanted to inform them after all. For two months, she trained on her own to learn Chinese. She learned very quickly compared to a normal person, thanks to her willpower, which meant that she was able to leave her native region for Liyue early.
