Pitch Black has seen over and over again that he's nothing against the big five. So what does he do? Be hatches a plan. Get rid of one of the big five.
Pitch uses a new invention of his which creates a dark elsa by pulling all of the darkness out of her. But in the process, he shatters her into nine different parts. Dark, royal, mysterious, rebellious, angry, love, smart, hurt, and hopeful.
In order to restore Elsa, the rest of the big five have to hunt down her alter-egos. But that may be easier said than done, because not all of them are as cooperative as Elsa, and Pitch is working just as hard to bring them to darkness. And he already has one.
The story starts in Burgess, a kingdom in which Pitch Black is known as the Nightmare King and reigns. Jack Frost lives with his sister and Rapunzel, a girl he found and rescued from a witch. Jack is a powerful ice Mage, and Pitch wants to use it to his advantage.
