Magus Curse

Karin, the headmost archmage in Vesper and the only successor of their empire travels the Land of Volkov to prey on evil spirits who had gone wild after consuming others souls that caused havoc entailing the copious loss of life.

There's only one focal reason why she hunts them down- to purposely put an end on the catastrophe and to search for her older brother, who was once also a high-skilled mage like her.

While wandering the Volkov, Karin is not sure about the peril she is headed for and how oblivious she is that there's somebody eyeing her. Nero, an adept assassin of the Volkov Empire who desires the omnipotent sovereignty that she holds and only one person possesses, as his plan gone in vain, he found himself losing his heart to the woman whom he sees nothing but an archenemy.
