Maybe Louis wanted to retell the story because he got it wrong. Maybe he felt that his memory was clearer now. Or maybe he decided it wasn't fair that he left her out. Their sunshine in the night. Enter Catherine- the one he forgot to tell about while he was too busy focusing on Lestat. Though after reading the mesmerizing book over and over again she realized something was missing. So, Megan Anderson decided she needed the real story. It did not take long to spot the legendary Lestat de Lioncourt in the streets of New Orleans. Of course, he was truly real. Her gut feeling had been right all along.
