My current D&D campaign is on hiatus. I was the party's note taker so I decided to tell our story via book form. The way I have all this written, you follow the story of Judda Faust from his early years gaining life experience and friends through misadventure and hardship.
Authors notes: this is a mature story, not intended for younger audiences. content warnings will be applied to chapters as needed. This is mostly written for fun, and each chapter will cover one of the sessions we played.

Blind Instincts
*COMPLETED* My head bowed in a heavy mannor, not in respect, but in trepidation. I discern his unwavering gaze over my ill silhouette. "Look at me." I opened my eyes, though it made no difference. Black is still black, all I am left with are my four senses. He will kill me if I don't look. He will kill me if I do. He will look into my sightless eyes and see my futile existence isn't worth living. He will kill me, and he will be doing the pack a justice by it. He growls a low, throaty snarl to warn me about disobeying an alpha. There will be consequences, we both know that. His lingering growls let me know he is not going to allow me to contravene his word. I steadily inch my head upwards, visibly shaking everywhere else. Maybe he won't notice my depthless eyes from across the gazebo. My life depends on it. This is the old version of this book. It will be discontinued but there is currently a new version being made right now which is on my profile. Koa, a 17 year old boy lived in a world full of shifters. It's his last year of high school and he is ready to be done and move on with his life. Tomorrow is his 18th birthday which indicates he will finally be able to find his mate. Throughout his first day as a senior, he found his classes and even made friends on the way. In one of his classes though, English, a conversation started on the topic of the known to be extinct dragon shifters. Even though it got dark, he remained the same and went on about his day. Many people avoided Koa due to him being intimidating. He was known for having a bad temper and getting into many fights for no absolute reason. And surprisingly, he was an omega with the looks and temper of an alpha. Excited to meet his mate, he couldn't wait for the day to end, but little did he know his life would change forever on the day he thought would be his best. "What are you gonna do? Call for help and cry?" He cooed. "Shut the fuck up!" Damsel shoved him away, only to be slammed back against the wall again. "I'm a damsel in distress! Help! Help! Where's my Knight in shining Armour!" Darren mimicked a high-pitched girly voice as he held back his laughter, grinning from ear to ear. He couldn't help but lean down dangerously close to Damsel's face Smiling, causing the younger to scrunch up his nose in disgust in result. Sure, the boy was annoying, but the pure satisfaction of the reactions he could get from the younger set a bomb of butterflies to explode in Darren's stomach. "Darren I'm not in the mood- fuck off!" Damsel spat in his face, the spit landing on Darren's cheek. Blood was rushing to Damsel's head, as he desperately tried to calm down whilst being trapped between the muscled arms resting on the wall behind him. He was flustered to say the least as his heart beat started thumping ever so loudly, Darren's nose just inches away from his. Darren could only scoff as he wiped away the spit that landed on his cheek, flames boiling and evident in his eyes, yet he wasnt sure if it was anger, annoyance, or something else. He aggressively lifted damsel's gaze with a tight grip on the younger's chin. Dominance coated his next words as a smirk grew on Darren's face. "But your knight's right here princess, where are you gonna run off to?" -------------- Damsel prince and Darren Knight. Ironic, right? You wouldn't catch these two getting along even if they were locked up in a closet together; they'd just be trying to rip each-other's throats out. That's just how they were. They'd do any little thing to piss the other off, it didn't matter what, when, or how,they wanted a negative reaction out of the other and that was it. Enemies. The rhythm or the water would have been soothing if it hadn't been so cruel. Drip. As it was, it was nothing more than a taunting form of torture. Drip. Ears could hear the soft thudding of raindrops at the end of the hall as a door was pulled open in squeaking protests and then shut with a harsh metallic clang. How the rain made its way into the depths of the cement room, it didn't matter. It was there. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. The footsteps were strong and full of purpose. Though just as unwanted as the drops of water that fell too far out of reach. Unable to quench the dehydrated desperation chained to the wall. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. Only one set of footsteps. There was no question of the destination or purpose that carried them down the hall. Not that it was a surprise. It was always the same. First the pain, then the visit. The cell door opened to darkness. There was no energy to move, not even enough to will eyelids to open. Not that it mattered. The visit never changed. What more could be said? What more could be done? All that mattered was that stale, barely edible food was only given after he was done.
