Joey Lorenz, a nobody who's practically stumbled around his life for the past seven house moves, faces a series of unexplainable events that steer him to get to class rather early one day. In his government class, the only one in the room with him was Reunion Rose High School hockey star for the Saplings, Gavin Winnicott. The two feel a strange obsession with each other, but Gavin feels conflicted thoughts about it, and one day he reveals,

"It's a shame you're so cute for how much you make me angry."

After all, Joey is a nobody, he has no goals in life with nowhere to turn to, as for Gavin, he has dreams and passions.

The two want answers and that's why they stick together, but, is there something more?
