The greed of Princess Blister, the wrath of Princess Burn, and the ignorance of Princess Blaze has left the Sand Kingdom in discord. SandWings are split between the three contenders, and their neighbors the IceWings, although affiliated with Princess Blaze, show support for Princess Blister, particularly in the city of Dune Oasis, near the Ice-Sand Kingdom borders.

A notorious House, known as the House of Darkling, runs Dune Oasis, and one would assume any dragonet born into it would be important. Yet Vulpes was not. Except for a massacre on a party that celebrated her egg, nothing important ever considered her.

But born with a one track mind, why would she consider anything other than Blister important? Why should she? Why did she?
