Scorpius, Rose, and Albus have been best friends for years. In the middle of their sixth year at Hogwarts, Albus goes missing.
No one knows what has happened to him.
As Ron, Harry, Ginny, Hermione, and Draco look for the missing Potter boy, Scorpius and Rose find themselves spending quite a bit of time together as they look for him as well. They abandon their studies in hopes of reuniting with their best friend, but little do they know how dramatic their journey will be.
In addition to having a missing best friend, Scorpius is dealing with internal battles. He finds himself excelling at magic, way beyond his age group. The once witty, goofy, and sweet boy is now afflicted with wondering what is wrong with him. Is there darkness in the young wizard's blood, or is he simply extraordinarily gifted?
Rose's feelings grow for the Malfoy boy as they spend more and more time alone together, but she knows she must prioritize finding her cousin.
As the two friends journey to find the missing piece of their trio, they completely lose contact with all others. Without understanding why, Rose and Scorpius are completely on their own, unable to reach out to their families or friends for help.
Will Rose allow her feelings to grow for Scorpius, or will the gravity of the journey ruin her chance at love?
Will Scorpius find a darkness inside him that causes him to excel at magic?
Will the two of them finally be able to contact their families again?
And most importantly, will Albus return home safely, or will be remain missing forever?
Read and find out.
