This is book one of a fanfiction series I'm working on in my free time about Octopath Traveler: Champions of The Continent.
"Wealth, power, fame. Humanity's strongest desires rule over all of Orsterra after several individuals find cursed rings that grant them the powers of one of the many 13 gods of Orsterra."
There are going to be some character information changes in this, for example, Rinyuu and Velnorte are both 17 years old instead of Rinyuu being 15+ and Velnorte being 17+ because the writers of the game decided to make stupid decisions.

A Court of Wings and Fate
Some say that everyone's fate is already determined. If that's the case, Estelle Marzena is greatly disappointed with hers. Her greatest dream is to participate in the Illyrian Blood Rite and become a Carynthian warrior, like so many in her family. She has been training for the Rite her entire life, and yet, she continues to be told that she isn't ready. Estelle must find a way to prove her skills to her mentors so that she can prove her skills to the world, and she might have unwittingly stumbled across a way to do that. Being the bastard son of the High Lord of Dawn isn't something Mikael Anik takes lightly. Despite his parents' love and acceptance, Mikael continued to feel the pressure and unease of his people. His birth parents never married and he is a Peregryn halfbreed, the likes of which had never become a High Lord before. Mikael is devoted to proving himself to both his fathers and his people, but can he do that and deal with a surprisingly irritating Shadowsinger at the same time?
