Three years prior to arriving in the realm of Ninjago, a Dragon Hunter called Faith had to escape her home realm after the Oni invaded the lands of her people. In order to defeat the Oni and end the eternal war, Faith must walk the Elemental Road to a place called the Elemental Gate that will grant her what she most needs. To access the Road and survive the six challenges, Faith must assemble six Elemental Masters to help her. Together, they will have to work as a team to make it through the difficult challenges in order to prove themselves worthy of the reward.

But as always, fate has a habit of interfering. It throws obstacles in Faith's path, ones ranging from a teenager whose past she can't figure out to her own mind doubting everything she thought before. Secrets unravel, bonds are created, and by the end of the road, no one can truthfully say their lives haven't changed greatly.
