Darius Caelum, born in the hidden Village of Heroes, is one of the few survivors after its destruction. However, calamity strikes again, and as Eldoria about to fall, pieces of Darius's past begin to resurface-memories not just of his village, but of a modern world where he played a VR game, Trials of Heroes, a game with the theme of Gilgamesh the King of Heroes.

As he became the new Darius Caelum under the name of Eldric Valen Eldoria, the new king of the Eldoria Kingdom that is considered as one of the lowest tier kingdoms in the grand empire of Solis that consists of 85 kingdoms. With his Tablet Grimoire from Gilgamesh, the new 'Path of Heroes' system that gave him the power to level up inside the game world, and the cultivation strength of this world that would help him ascend to higher realms. 

Follow Darius/Eldric, as he explore the world to make his kingdom the strongest, to continue the legacy of his now-lost Village of Heroes, and to protect his dear childhood friend, the Emperor's Daughter, Iris.
