To be fair, anybody who was around from Season 5 stayed well away from him, and only Flame and Mane who didn't know his past would accept him in.

Perhaps in the end, maybe everyone could have a happy ending, despite what has happened?

Clay had been closeted all his life and planned for it to remain that way. But, with having homophobic parents it was seemingly impossible to ever find the happiness he longed for. After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again". George had homophobic parents too and goes through the same. When times are at its worst somehow these two meet each other and now they are isolated from reality in the therapy school. Also, I will say this ahead of time, some of the ways the mcyt get together are kinda rushed, but later on in the story there are more stuff about the ship and stuff. Btw, there are mentions of drinking, but they don't drink irresponsibly, and in this story, they don't drink that much and they make sure to try not to drink that much if they do. Although they do have some crazy nights. I would also like to say that this is a story of their Dream SMP personas, not them irl, it just takes place irl. That's all.
