Bloodlines

This is the sequel to my fanfiction Bloodloss, based on the book series "The Mortal Instruments" by Cassandra Clare. The characters are hers, not mine.

This book follows on from the City of Lost Souls and therefore contains huge spoilers for the series. Proceed with caution if you haven't finished the series so far. Also, due to the fact this story focuses primarily on Alec, some details from the Lost Souls have been altered to make this story better.

Synopsis:

Finally, after months of chaos, it seems Alec Lightwood's life is falling into place. Living with his boyfriend Magnus, now more secure in his new downworlder powers and able to visit the Institute at his leisure, life seems wonderful.
But when worldwide institutes are attacked by a mysterious force, Alec must step up to the plate and be the hero he's always doubted he could be.
