Hundreds of years ago they came. And for hundreds of years they've stayed, feasting off of the world's energy and enslaving the humans. Yet in the world's darkest hour of need, their protector seemingly vanished. So when signs of the humans savior returning have started to appear, everything starts to change. For Ingrid this is all she had ever hoped for, however, when one small mistake alters the course of her life forever, she has to give up all she has ever been just to stay alive.
