A haunted World War II veteran, lost and numb after the war, turns to grave robbing to survive. One night, he stumbles upon a cemetery where his fallen comrades are buried, unearthing familiar names and memories of the battlefield. As he digs deeper, he uncovers an unmarked grave and is horrified to find his own body. Realizing he died in the war and has been a wandering spirit ever since, he must confront his past and come to terms with his fate to finally find peace.
