Also some parts of the other Zelda games as well. **** Two people, both crippled by grief and both struggling with great expectations. Two people, but seventeen and still older than Hyrule itself. Two people, who will grow to rely on each other, torn apart by the final ruination. The blood moon rises... The shadow of the Calamity rises over the kingdom of Hyrule, rearing its terrible head, tearing apart all that stands in its way. The deadline was hanging over the head of the citizens who depend on the success of a powerless girl and the mettle of a simply talented boy. The full Triforce shall collide once more, and when it does, are they courageous enough to overcome the own demons that haunt them and stand firm against the evil ahead? Hey everyone! There will be quite a lot of angst so if you're not okay with that, then please don't read my book. There will be rather graphic descriptions of war and battles, and self-harm and depression will trigger some of you, but there are no sexual scenes, nor swearing. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. Until The Last Breath
A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon.
