An AU of the masterful story "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint", in which Dokja's strategy is entirely different and leads him to accept becoming an incarnation at the beginning of the story... Meanwhile, the Secret Treader can't help but question what possessed him to offer himself as a sponsor in the first scenario.
The characters, the Star Stream, and this wonderful universe belong entirely to Sing Shong; I'm just having fun with them and wishing them the best.
Warnings: Besides a massive spoiler alert, it's worth noting that "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" is quite a lengthy story, so we have a chance for a slow build-up, right?
