Y/N Beaufort is a French, pure-blooded witch with a problem. Nine years ago, she left her old home for France, were she lived until the age of four. Now thirteen with her birthday approaching fast, she's starting to think about what she wants. But what she gets is something she couldn't imagine even being possible. 

On the day of her birthday, Y/N wakes up excited, of course, but nervous. She knew that no matter what her parents did, it wouldn't be able to compare to what she could've had, had they stayed in Britain. And what she could've had was a friend. A best friend. Remus John Lupin, her old, imperfect best friend.
