Set against the backdrop of World War II, Steve Rogers is a frail but determined young man from Brooklyn who desperately wants to serve his country. Rejected from the army due to his physical limitations, Steve is given a second chance when he volunteers for a top-secret experiment, transforming him into Captain America-a super soldier with extraordinary abilities. Armed with his iconic Vibranium shield, Steve leads Allied forces in a fight against Hydra, a dangerous Nazi division led by Baron Zemo. As Steve battles his way through enemy lines to rescue his best friend Bucky Barnes, he uncovers a sinister plan to release a deadly toxin.
