Turning Page

Her time wasn't ready. I wasn't ready to let her go. She was my love... I was hers. Why did she have to leave us so soon? So sudden? Her one moment... gone the next. It just doesn't seem natural. What I would do... Just to have her in my arms. What I would do just to hear her gentle voice...soft like velvet. What I would do just to tell her I love you. What I would do... Our love was like a book. Turning pages, eagerly wanting to dive into the next. If only I never turned that page... maybe she would have still been here. Maybe I would have never lost my love to the turned page.
