Brigitte takes Ginger home with the promise of 'dead by 16'. Sam doesn't come. Brigette won't let him. She cures Ginger with a stab to the gut and plunge of a needle, but it's not that simple.

Brigitte infected her self for that false promise. She was never going to be dead by 16, and she sure wasn't going escape Bailey Downs in a lycanthrope form. She believed the real Ginger, her sister, wouldn't have wanted that either.
So, she infects herself thinking she can be cured too.

The sisters deal with Brigitte's change and the trials of Canadian Highschool. Love, sex, family and friends are all hard to manage as a werewolf, they where for Ginger, and they are for Brigitte.
