August 1. The Feast of Spes. The day the Giants fell, the day Gaea was defeated, the day the Prophecy of Seven reached an end. But the same grey, chilly day the next year, another enemy has marked as his return, the beginning of his apocalypse. On that day, Percy wakes up with a terrible headache. His room's been thrashed, his clothes ripped and dirty, his cheek bruised, his memory blank. A look outside his dorm window reveals a barren dried out war zone that used to be New Rome only several hours ago. The air has tension strung into every breath Percy takes, as if reality is on the verge of collapsing. A vile laughter is echoing through the wind, but all Percy knows is that something major has happened, something that he doesn't remember... But all the answers are locked inside his own mind, and only he can unearth the key. All he finds in his pocket is Riptide and a crumpled piece of paper that says "IVLIVS." One clue leads to another as the heroes try to spiderweb their way through this blind quest. Adventure takes them all into a spiraling mystery of bloodlust, love, and adrenaline while deadly secrets are clawing their way into light. This unknown force is the most dangerous creature they've ever faced. It's only a matter of time until the very idea of reality collapses, until the entire world is lost, until the enemy devours existence. *All rights to Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, setting, and characters go to Rick Riordan!! "Yes, I did." The Olympian trial was in motion, and those three words resonated through the walls of the throne room, Sending a tingle down every God's spine. Silence followed, then a question "Why..?" "He went too far this time Lord Zeus." "Too far? You made him so miserable then killed him, just for the sake of vengeance?" The accused stayed quiet. Meanwhile the sea God was finding it hard to contain his rage, anger brewing inside him like a tornado about to decimate whatever stood in its way. "For killing an innocent in such a gruesome manner, I'd make you immortal and sentence you to Tartarus. But seeing how much you have done for us, endured for us, you will be executed and your life will be forfeit. This decision is irrevocable under every circumstance, Perseus Jackson! " Ordered Zeus. *LINE BREAK* The date was set, the most celebrated couple of camp Half-blood were all set to leave camp and travel to New Rome to have a peaceful life. But the fates had different plans. An alarm sounded, and Zeus' voices radiated through camp half-blood. "The Sea mourns the loss of its Prince. All are invited tomorrow at dawn to the funeral of the Prince of the sea and the heir of Poseidon, Commander of the Poseidon army - Triton, who departed us - victim to a horrible and nightmarish murder." When Percy's universe turns upside down after an execution order against him, he knows he can't outrun all the Gods. Why did he kill his own brother? Are the Gods really against their hero as usual or have the times changed? Did he even kill his own immortal brother? If not why would he confess to it?
