In New York City, Alexander Grant is a young billionaire from a powerful family. He has a childhood sweetheart, Lily, but because of family pressure, he is forced to marry Victoria, a woman who has loved him for 20 years. Victoria thinks she has finally won his love, not knowing that her marriage is part of a plan by Alexander's grandfather, who loves her and wants to secure the family business. However, Alexander secretly vows to make Victoria pay for his unhappiness. Things take a dark turn when, during her 23rd birthday party, Victoria is drugged and ends up in Alexander's hotel room. They sleep together, and when Alexander offers her money to stay quiet, Victoria learns she is pregnant. This forces Alexander to marry her, but their life together is filled with pain and betrayal. As their marriage continues, Alexander treats Victoria badly. He cheats on her and humiliates her in public. After his grandfather dies, things get even worse. In a twist, Lily gets into an accident on purpose, and everyone blames Victoria. Alexander's anger grows, leading to more abuse. Victoria becomes crippled because of his mistreatment. Finally, after Alexander's sister dies, Victoria is blamed and sent to prison for a crime she didn't commit. As the truth comes out, the story shows the struggles of love, loyalty, and the fight to regain one's life.
