After a year of soul-searching and self-discovery, Megan finally feels like she's starting to figure out her life. While she hasn't accomplished everything she hoped for, she's proud of the person she's becoming. She's let go of the pressures of the past, learned to accept her flaws, and has even discovered her dream of owning a restaurant.

But just as Megan starts to feel grounded, echoes from her past resurface. First, there's Clifford, the ex-boyfriend she's relieved to have moved on from, despite the emotional scars he left behind. Then, there's Gino, the high school crush she never quite forgot. After a strange series of online conversations, Megan's long-lost feelings for Gino resurface, and the two finally meet in person after years apart.

What starts as an innocent reunion quickly becomes a rollercoaster of emotions as Megan is swept back into a world of old feelings, lingering regrets, and unresolved tensions. As her connection with Gino intensifies, Megan must face the difficult questions: Is she ready to rekindle something that never truly began, or is her future waiting elsewhere? And what will happen when past and present collide?

Growing up, all he wanted was to be loved as much as he loved others. What with an emotionally and physically absent step mother and a distant father who doesn't realize his son isn't a straight-A making machine, Chase Lawrence has developed a bad habit of stressing way too much over school work and having a burning desperation for a distraction. That didn't tend to mix well with his current girlfriend of three months who he's never gone on a single date with because she always had an excuse. Then, all of a sudden the endless loop of exhaustion and disappointment breaks when Chase finds himself magnetically drawn towards his Coach's son, and looking at him a lot more than someone already in a relationship should. So, what happens when a boy still recovering from the trauma he gained his freshman year and a quarterback wanting a relationship where he can finally be himself, start to like each other? Well, hopefully, maybe, they can give each other some stress relief. *** Copyright status: [All rights reserved]
