In a supernatrual world where vampires, werewolves, and humans live side by side, this story follows Celeste, a werewolf girl, and Ivy, a vamp. These two live two very different lives, but bond over blood and love. I guess you could say this is a best friends to lovers type of book. Celeste is 18 in her senoir year of high school, while Ivy is 19 working hard at her uncle's bar.

In this universe, giving blood is considered sex, being very pleasurable to both parties. Drinking one's blood without permission is considered rape. Vampires choose their blood partners very carefully, bonding themselves to their blood partner (siane) treating them as their lovers. There are live vamps and dead vamps, live vamps can only coarse the willing while dead vamps captivate their victums. There are practicing and non practicing vamps, which refers to if they drink blood or not. Dead vamps can only drink blood, while live vamps can eat human food but are much more alive when practicing.

Werewolves have four forms:
Human: self explanitory, just looks like a human
Partial: Human form with their respective ears and tail
Wolf form: Turns into a larger version of a wolf, kind of like in twilight
And finally, Beast form: A large muscular wolf beast, looks like a buff furry ngl

Werewolves need to have more meat in their diet to keep themselves from wolfing out (turning into their beast form against their will.) They can willingly change between forms, it is just pretty painful. During blood moons they are forced into their beast forms. When they get really angry they can shift into their beast form. However most weres have good control over their shifting from form to form. It is pretty rare for a were to shift against their will.
