The book "Eternal Night, Eternal Love" by Lila tells the story of Angel and Aurora, who fall in love despite coming from different worlds. Angel is a vampire, Aurora a human. They have to overcome many challenges, including Angel's family, who do not accept Aurora, and Spike, Angel's brother, who is also in love with Aurora. Eventually, Angel and Aurora marry and have a child, Asteria. But their happiness is short-lived, as Spike kills Angel. Aurora is forced to marry Spike to protect her daughter. After a few years, however, Spike returns a changed man and asks Aurora for forgiveness. They forgive each other and have a child together, John. Asteria and John eventually also become vampires and attend a special school for vampires and other beings.

After Nova is transformed, she has to learn to accept her life, as it is now (infertility, not growing old, intense cravings, and gaining acceptance from those she loves, and new acquaintances, and of course herself.
