The lifeless animated Construct known only as Marlina, awakened in a world at odds from deep lingering scars of conquest and malice, seeks a home where she can belong. 

In hopes of finding a place to call home, she also wishes to seek answers for the origin of her creation and if she is the only one of her kind.

With only knowing her name and that her purpose of being is to serve another, she searches far and wide, learning more about the world with some help of a group of outcasts from an exhiled veteran, to a fugitive of a powerful family, to a leader desperate to seek salvation for their dying race. 

One of Marlina's newfound friends has been taken, and it seems she is the only one up for the task to prevent their suffering to a terrible fate. A daunting task indeed, and requiring mettle as steadfast as steel.

Will she succeed? There is only one way to know.

This is only the beginning of the trouble that lies ahead.
