She seeks to eradicate the shadows that threaten to extinguish the already diminishing light of the world. He wants to find meaning in the darkest side of humanity. But what happens when the two, naturally deemed to be enemies simply by belonging to opposing factions, end up crossing paths?
A mental clash that neither of them was truly prepared for occurs when Elin is tasked with destroying the biggest project that Alwin had ever been a part of. Little by little, they become aware that each is the other one's hunter as well as the prey.
