The Age of Aries

Crius (Aries) is sent by a cloud nymph, Nephele, on a grueling mission to save her two children, Phrixus and Helle, from their stepmother. However, tragedy strikes during their journey resulting in the death of one of the children. Despite this loss, Crius carries the remaining child to refuge in Colchis. Upon arrival, the king demands a sacrifice in exchange for allowing them to stay. In a cruel twist of betrayal, Crius is offered up as the sacrifice. Heartbroken and furious at the betrayal from the very person she saved, Crius narrowly escapes. Her thirst for revenge is further fueled by the worst act against her: the execution of her ill mother, who was killed into bribing Crius into returning. Now, being hunted by Jason and the Argonauts, Crius is on the run torn between her grief and her growing rage as she seek retribution for her mother. A tale that explores themes of betrayal, loss, and justice, this is the first story of the Zodiac Killers.
