“Haven’t we talked about all of this before? Kennedy, you know I have feelings for you, but at the moment, my career is my first priority,” the tall boy said, rubbing the back of his neck. “I’m sorry, Harry. Maybe we should just stop whatever this is.” “But I still want you in my life,” Harry said with a painful tone in his voice. “I can’t do it, Harry. I’ve loved you for a year now, and I’m not sure I can just set aside my feelings and pretend that we are only friends.” “Well, I need you to. Just until I finish up with X Factor.” || Kennedy never thought that a soccer game would complicate her very simplistic life. She likes to do everything simple. Having a simple style. Meeting simple guys. Having a simple relationship. But after meeting Harry Styles, former Doncaster soccer player, Kennedy's life is the opposite of simple. So, will the duo overcome the challenges of loving each other, or will the bloke trade Kennedy in for a more famous and less needy girl, or should I say, booty-call? ||

"Why do you keep pretending you're afraid of me?" He hissed, obvious anger in his eyes. "Because Louis; if I'm not afraid of you I'll end up loving you!" I shouted. "And that means I'll get hurt...because that's just the way you are!" I said, hoping he would correct me. "You're right." He said simply after a long pause. "You're right." She was new; he was jaded. She was oblivious; he knew all too well. She was innocent; he was everything but. And anyone who looked at the two would know just how wrong they were together. Yet there was no denying the obvious fire that seemed to heat every time they were near each other. This isn't the typical "boy loves girl- they fall in love" etc. etc. This is about heart wrenching confessions, breath taking encounters, love shattering secrets, and two people who so desperately want to know just what love is.
