Ponyboy Curtis has lived on the wrong side of town of Tulsa, Oklahoma his whole life. He's never left. Due to his parents having died eight months prior, his whole life has gone downhill, his brothers work constantly to provide for him and he's now stuck in Tulsa for longer.
Ruby Fletcher has lived all around. Her big shot lawyer father works nationally, resulting in her having to move constantly. Ruby is ecstatic when told they'd be staying somewhere for longer than six months, little did she know the amazing but painful things Tulsa would bring her as she falls head over heels for a greaser boy.
Can these young dreamers keep their love a secret in this 1960s romance story? Or will it all come crashing down?
